Laura Main
Weekend Anchor

Laura Main anchors the weekend edition of the award-winning News2 at Nine.

Laura has been recognized with awards numerous times for her spot news and feature reporting.

Laura fell in love with journalism when she was 15, working for an English language cable station in Germany. A proud graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, Laura got her professional start as a producer at CNN in Atlanta, GA. Since then, she's been an anchor/reporter at stations in Midland, TX; Richmond, VA; Columbus, OH; and Greensboro, NC.

Thanks to her parents' diplomatic careers, Laura grew up all over the world. She dabbles in languages and enjoys exploring other cultures and cuisines. It also gave her a great spirit of adventure. She loves to ski, whitewater raft, skydive, scuba dive and bungee jump, and completed her first marathon in 2002.

Laura and her husband Marc live in Denver.
