Lisa Holbrook
Weekend Sports Anchor

Lisa Holbrook is the sports anchor on the weekend edition of the award-winning News2 at Nine.

Lisa won an Emmy award for spot news reporting and has been honored by the Syracuse Press Club and Missouri Broadcasters Association for her television work.

Lisa graduated from Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. She brings 10 years sports reporting experience to News2, but actually began her career as a news reporter/photographer at WITN-TV in Washington, NC, where she also anchored, produced, did the weather, and ran the assignment desk. She has also anchored the news at WOAY-TV, the ABC affiliate in Oak Hill, WV; and at WTVH-TV, the CBS affiliate in Syracuse, NY. After dodging gunfire while covering a story in Kansas City, KS, in 1996, Lisa decided to pursue a longtime dream of sports reporting.
