Angie Austin
Weather Anchor

Angie Austin is the weather anchor on the Emmy award winning News2 This Morning.

Angie is a Colorado native and third generation graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in mass communication, psychology and anthropology. Angie worked 7-days-a-week at Boulder Community Hospital for 7 years to put herself through Fairview High School and college. Other educational credentials include studies with the Mississippi State University Broadcast Meteorology program.

Before joining News2, Angie worked in Los Angeles and San Diego, CA. She was morning host for XETV-TV (FOX) in San Diego, CA and weather reporter for KNBC-TV (NBC) in Los Angeles, CA. Angie also worked as an assignment editor for KNBC-TV (NBC) in Los Angeles, CA, as a segment producer and assignment editor for nationally syndicated magazine show EXTRA in Los Angeles, CA, and weather reporter for KEYT-TV (ABC) in Santa Barbara, CA.
