Since its inception in 1992, CW2 Gives, a fund of the McCormick Tribune Foundation, has distributed more than $40 million to the Rocky Mountain region, giving back more money to non-profits than any television station in Denver.
More than 150 different Colorado non-profit organizations have received assistance from CW2 Gives through McCormick Tribune Foundation grants.
A significant number of these grants are earmarked for disadvantaged families and youth, and go to support inner city educational programs, literacy programming, family health programs, recreation and the arts. The grants generated by CW2 Gives through the McCormick Tribune Foundation make an invaluable difference in the quality of lives of thousands of individuals touched each year by these charitable services.
CW2 Gives is a fund of the Communities Program of the McCormick Tribune Foundation (MTF). MFT assists CW2 Gives in the administration of its fund sharing expenses and provides significant matching monies to supplement contributions to the community. Every dollar raised by CW2 Gives is matched by the Foundation at a significant percentage, making more money available to support many of the very worthwhile charitable causes in the Colorado community.
